Education

  • 1974-1976 - Kiev State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, Faculty of German Language (today National Linguistic University of Kiev). After completing the second year of study, continued his studies in the German Democratic Republic.
  • 1976-1980 - Humboldt University of Berlin, speciality by diploma: ‘German Studies’, specialist qualification ‘Philologist. Teacher of German and French’ (diploma with honours dated 20 June 1980).
  • 1985-1988 - Postgraduate studies at the Kiev State Pedagogical Institute for Foreign Languages.
  • PhD in Philology; dissertation on ‘Contamination of phraseological units of the German language’ defended on 13.10.1088 at the Specialised Academic Council at the Kiev State Pedagogical Institute for Foreign Languages (diploma ФЛ No. 012396 dated 29.03.1989). 
  • academic title - Associate Professor at the Department of German Philology (diploma ДЦ № 001528 of 24.02.1992).

Work experience

Since 2000 he has been working at the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman:

  • 2023 - present - Associate Professorof the department of German language.

  • 2000-2001 - Associate Professorof the department of Foreign Languages at the Interregional Academy for Human Resource Management.
  • 1993-1999 - third, second, first secretary at the Embassy of Ukraine to the Swiss Confederation.
  • 1980 (September-October), 1982-1993 - Assistant, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of the department of German Philology at the Kiev State Pedagogical Institute for Foreign Languages.
