Department of International Trade and MarketingGeneral informationThe first department of international trade in Ukraine, created in 2005, provides for the preparation of specialists according to the Master programme “International Trade and Marketing”. The main task of the department is the formation of Bachelor and Master students' professional competencies in the sphere of international trade and international marketing; implementation of research activities according to such perspective directions as the formation of trade policies of the countries in conditions of the functioning of the global trade system WTO, development of forms and methods of commercial diplomacy, provision of updates on technologies of international marketing activity; continual improvement on techniques, forms and methods of teaching the disciplines; cultivation of the future specialists' dynamism, creativity, self-discipline, good faith and patriotism. The creation of the Department in 2005 was a statement of the contribution of the faculty to the process of training specialists in the field of international trade and marketing activities in terms of integration into the global trading system, which was the logical continuation of the institutional formation of Professor D. Lukyanenko's Research and Teaching school that included key areas of international economic activity (economics, management, finance, trade). That was a step to further structural optimization of the faculty work to improve the quality of Bachelor and Master's education according to the criteria of the Bologna Process, recognition of the staff's accumulated experience and methodological capacity in international trade and economic relations.
