For all educational components of the EPP, where the department's specialists teach, work programmes and teaching materials for students are developed and updated in a timely manner. The teaching staff of the department is working hard to introduce active forms of teaching material in lectures using lectures-discussions, lectures with situation analysis, visualisation, etc.; applying innovative teaching methods during seminars; updating the teaching and methodological support of bachelor's and master's level disciplines; preparing manuals on the disciplines ‘Customs Regulation’, ‘International Commercial Business’, ‘Economic Diplomacy’, ‘Management of International Distribution Channels’; introducing modern information and communication technologies, in particular the Moodle learning management system, into the educational process. In accordance with the university's educational concept, the department's specialists have developed methodological and teaching materials for all disciplines, as well as individual tasks, test papers, and examination tasks for use on the Moodle platform, both for online and distance learning. In order to improve the teaching of the department's disciplines and intensify research work, as well as to enrich each other in discussing controversial issues in the field of international trade and marketing activities of companies, the department holds scientific and methodological seminars. Along with scientific issues, the seminars address methodological issues related to the experience and methods of teaching certain disciplines, preparing master's theses, writing textbooks, etc. The department has a student discussion club, which discusses topical issues of international socio-economic development proposed by students. An important area of methodological work of teachers is monitoring of trends in the development of the world economy, international trade, international marketing, logistics and timely adjustment of the content of not only educational components, but also programmes. In particular, a number of new educational components have been developed and implemented for the International Trade and Marketing programme over the past 2-3 years: Global Supply Chains, Global Marketing Communications, Digital Technologies in International Trade and Marketing. Such disciplines as Trade Policy and Commercial Diplomacy and International Contracting have been significantly updated. In its methodological work, the department applies the principle of continuity (succession) of disciplines at different levels of higher education. Thus, at the bachelor's level, the department offers International Marketing and International Logistics, and at the master's level, respectively: International Marketing Management and Global Supply Chains. For the educational component International Trade, the principle of continuity is implemented at all levels of higher education and has the following sequence: International Trade (Bachelor's degree), Trade Policy and Commercial Diplomacy (Master's degree), Global Trade Policy (PhD). The peculiarities of educational and methodological work at the department are the need to provide disciplines taught by the department only at KNEU; the need to ensure the practical orientation of the educational process and constant updating of information support to update individual tasks; the desire of the department staff to fully support the educational process at the EPP ‘International Trade and Marketing’ in terms of professional cycle disciplines.
