A significant academic event recently took place at the Department of International Economics: Georgiy Synianskyi successfully defended his PhD dissertation in the specialty 292 International Economic Relations. He has now officially received his Doctor of Philosophy degree diploma, becoming in modern circumstances a remarkable example of perseverance, academic dedication, and scholarly growth.

The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Denys Ilnytskyy, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and faculty member of the Department of International Economics. This defense marked an important milestone for him as well — the successful defense of his first PhD student.

The research by Georgiy Synianskyi on the topic "Germany's Competitive Strategy in the Process of the EU's Integration Modernization" represents a valuable contribution to the study of the leading economies in the global economic system and complements the ongoing researches conducted within the framework of the academic school of Global Competitive Leadership.
