There are 2 computer classes with the Internet access on the Faculty making it possible to implement remote forms of learning within the scope of joint international programmes. Modern language laboratories provide proper conditions for learning foreign languages. The fundamental humanitarian and general economics training underlies a system of the professional knowledge of bachelors via special disciplines, such as: International Economic Law, International Organisations, International Marketing, International Trade, International Finance, International Investment Activities, Accounting in Foreign Countries, International Economic Analysis, International Economic Activities of Ukraine, etc. The study of the suite of core and selective disciplines ensures the training of bachelors capable of performing practical functions of a specialist in the field of foreign trade and investment activities, foreign exchange and accounting/analysis operations.

The graduated bachelors continue their studies on a competitive basis under master programmes:

The internship and the fluency in two foreign languages are an obligatory element of the training of international relations specialists.

At the bachelor level, students of the Faculty can study in parallel under one-year and two-year programmes in the Napier University (Edinburg, UK), in the International Professional University of Paris and Lyon (France), a specialised higher education establishment in Konstanz (Germany), etc.

The system of education, under which partner universities determine and provide credits for exams and tests in disciplines studied by students in their respective universities, is based upon co-operation agreements with these universities. This recognition of credits provides real conditions for the obtainment of two bachelor diplomas by students after the 4th year of study. Master students can study simultaneously under CTPL, a certified Ukrainian/Canadian training programme in Trade Policy and Commercial Diplomacy (remote form of study) and a Ukrainian/German certified master programme in International Economics (intramural form of study), obtain qualification certificates of professional stock market members.

The Faculty keeps an eye on issues of the future job placement of graduates. Major places of employment include state regulators, domestic enterprises with large-scale foreign-trade activities, companies with foreign investments, branches of foreign industrial and trade corporations, large Ukrainian and foreign banks, investment funds and foreign and domestic companies, international audit firms, etc.

In addition, some graduates work in teams implementing projects of international organisations in Ukraine (teams of the IMF, the World Bank, the European Union, etc.), work as advisors and assistants to high-ranking officials of the Government, the Parliament, the Administration of the President of Ukraine, and other state institutions.

In a relatively short time, graduates successfully make a professional career and become a part of the young economic and political elite of Ukraine. Many graduates manage large domestic and international companies as CEOs or other top managers.

Departments of the Faculty train PhDs and ScDs in the World Economy and International Economic Relations speciality. Since 2004, the International Economic Policy scientific magazine has been published. It is disseminated on paper and in the electronic form among almost all leading universities of the world.

The fundamental nature of the scientific research pursued by researchers of the Faculty, the recognition of their merits at the domestic and international levels support the claim that a scientific school of the research into the international economic integration, competitiveness and globalisation has developed here. It was founded by professors D.G. Lukyanenko, A.M. Poruchnyk, O.M. Mozgovy, B.V. Hubsky, T.M. Tsyhankova, Y.H. Panchenko, V.I. Chuzhykov, et al.

The Faculty trained hundreds of highly qualified specialists in the field of the international economy over the relatively short period of its existence. The practice demonstrates that the demand for such specialists keeps growing.
