Student study visit (‘International Trade’ and ‘International Trade and Marketing’ programmes) to ONE LOVE Roastery19 May 2026р.On 18 May 2026, students from the Bachelor’s programme in ‘International Trade’ and the Master’s programme in ‘International Trade and Marketing’ at the Faculty of International Economics and Management of the Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University visited ONE LOVE Roastery — one of Ukraine’s leading companies in the specialty coffee sector, which combines in-house coffee roasting, the development of coffee culture and modern approaches to business management. During the study visit, participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the full cycle of roasting operations: from the selection of green beans and quality control of raw materials to the roasting process, packaging and distribution of the finished product. Of particular interest was the demonstration of the coffee roasting process and the specifics of how the product’s flavour characteristics are formed. Company representatives told the students about the specifics of how a modern enterprise operates in a highly competitive market, the particularities of working with international suppliers, the construction of supply chains, as well as approaches to brand development and product promotion in the market. During the meeting, current trends in the development of the coffee industry were discussed, along with the importance of marketing communications in building customer loyalty and the role of innovation in creating competitive advantages for the company. Students also learnt about the practical aspects of product quality management, the organisation of logistics processes, and the development of customer service. The study visit provided a valuable opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with real-world business practices, and enabled students to gain a better understanding of how modern manufacturing and trading companies operate, as well as the career prospects in the field of international trade and marketing.
