Students on the “International Trade” and “International Trade and Marketing” programs visited Syngenta01 May 2026р.Students of the ‘International Trade’ undergraduate programme and the ‘International Trade and Marketing’ Master degree programme at the Faculty of International Economics and Management of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) undertook a study visit to Syngenta. Syngenta is one of the leading international agribusiness companies, specialising in the production of seeds and plant protection products. The company has a global presence and operates in more than 90 countries worldwide, promoting the development of sustainable agriculture and improving the efficiency of agricultural production through innovative technologies and scientific research. During the visit, the students learnt about the company’s operations, modern approaches to organising business processes, and the specifics of how international agribusiness functions. Company representatives not only presented the key areas of the company’s activities but also shared their own practical experience of working in global markets. In particular, the students were addressed by the company’s specialists: Kostyantyn Ivanyuk (CP Marketing Head), Yulia Serik (Procurement Business Partner), Serhii Kosolap (Seeds Marketing Head) and Maksym Bondarenko (Project Manager), who shared their knowledge on marketing strategies, procurement organisation, project management and the development of the company’s product portfolio. During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the company’s marketing activities and procurement organisation, specifically approaches to formulating market strategies, interacting with partners and ensuring the efficiency of business processes. The students were actively involved in the discussion, asked questions about the practical aspects of the company’s operations, discussed case studies and had the opportunity to interact directly with business representatives. The visit was an important part of the students’ practical training, enabling them to broaden their understanding of how global companies operate and to develop practical skills in the field of international trade and marketing. |
